some strength that they can be proud of, weakness that they have to erase. And
with that also come opportunities from outside world as well as the threat.
Strength
1. Franchise
The number of franchise Square Enix have could be called spectacular. For example they have Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts and of course you can't forget about Dragon Quest
2. Multiplatform
Like we all know, Square Enix has been releasing their games in multiplatform for the Handheld and Console.
3. Branch
Square Enix have open branch in some countries like North America, Europe, China.
4. Story writer
it couldn't be denied that Square Enix has a good story writer. For an RPG style game a story writer is the core of the project. So by having a nice story writer Square Enix already have some nice qualities in that genre.
5. Designer
Of course a game won't be called nice if only the stories that supporting it. Square Enix understand this and hiring a good designer to design the characters

4. The quality of applicant
Applicant in many country are trying to work in Square Enix, this could be used to get a great staff to their company

with many gadgets invented, the way child grow has been changed. Those child already capable of operating some gadgets that long ago shouldn't be possible
Threat
1. Rival company
Of course, the increasing of a good applicant also works in reverse. If they can't get them to work in their company and ended up working for their rival company. It could make their rival stronger.
2. Parents view to gamer
Not all parents is thinking gaming is a good thing. Some of them would prohibited their child to play game because their point of view
3. Government rules for game content
Yeah, this one not only affect Square Enix but almost all of developer game. If by some chance the government make a new rule while they create a game that have some prohibited content that being released. They have to cancel or restart the project

When their game go to international, of course the money and game value would change with the shipment and many things.

Of course, if fans exist so do Haters. As one of developer game mainly in RPG some gamer that didn't like that genre won't just stay aside looking it getting more fame making their fave genre fall.

SO Strategy
- Developing the sequel from each franchise to make the number of fans grow.
- Continuing the development for the next gen platform so they won't lose any chance to get more income.
- With their story writer and designer, it won't be hard for them to touch other genre while perserving their own unique point. It could become a high sell point that could end up making their marketing target broader.
- Using their popularity, Square Enix could invite many awesome applicants to work in Square Enix. Of course, it would be supported with their development when they work with their old staff. So even if the old staff retire Square Enix can keep going like before.
- Square Enix could broaden their range to kid by using the designer power to attract kid to become their fans. Just make an interesting art and song it would make them attached to it and making them think Square Enix is a good developer.
WO Strategy
- Square Enix have so many undeveloped franchise that their fans still waiting to be released. So using this chance they can make develop those franchise so they have a back up franchise after their main one.
- The increase of genre itself could be used by Square Enix to broaden their genre. Some people didn't really like RPG. So if they could make another genre with the same quality as their RPG genre. It would get them more fans and name in gaming worlds.
- Their RPG surely is awesome and no one could really deny it. But with the same game play fans would be easily bored with it. So they could add another spice in the game play so the fans can keep playing without getting bored.
- The difference between each branch employee could be solved by getting a brightful applicant and let them work under the one which have many experienced so they can learn from them.
ST Strategy
About the Parents view and government rule change, Square
Enix could show them a nice story and a good game play at once without adding
some needless story. By doing that Square Enix not only stopping those two
things but also beat their rival company and changing haters to be their fans.
WT Strategy
Well, in any case Square Enix could minimalize the damage
they get from the threat by changing
their own weakness to strength. Yeah, they didn't have unique game play but by
strengthening the story and design part they could overcome those threats.
